PURPOSE:To provide the present foam having each specified 25% compression hardness and elastic recovery, outstanding in flexibility, resilience, toughness and heat resistance, consisting of each specific block copolymer, straight chain low-density polyethylene and a copolymer in specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:(A) A block copolymer with both the end blocks and central block being styrene and ethylene-butylene and/or ethylene-propylene (pref., ethylene-butylene) respectively, (B) a straight chain low-density polyethylene with a density of <=0.930g/cm<3>, and (C) a copolymer from ethylene and at least one kind of compound selected from vinyl esters, (meth)acrylic acid and acrylic alkyl esters (pref., ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer) are mutually blended in the weight ratio: A/(B+C)=0.3-3 and B/C=0.1-5 and melted followed by forming into a sheet form, thus obtaining the objective crosslinked foam with a 25% compression hardness of 0.2-1.0kg/cm<2> and elastic recovery of <=10%. |
