PURPOSE:To uniformize and simplify the regulation of a buffer encoder by a method wherein, a paper slack is generated by the amount allowing a buffer plate with paper loaded and fixed to be set at a reference value and, then, the output value of an encoder is displayed in a state where a buffer is positionally fixed. CONSTITUTION:With a buffer plate 2 down to the lowest limit, tractors 3 load paper 10 between a head rolls 4, 6. After being restrained by a paper sucking device 7, the paper 10 is fed by a reference slack amount in normal running by the tractors 3. By imparting a restoring force to the buffer plate 2, the buffer plate 2 is fixed to a reference position by the paper 10. In this state, the output of an encoder 1 is outputted to a panel 8 by a microcomputer, and a sign OK is displayed on the panel 8. The encoder 1 is regulated in a direction of an arrow B to be fixed at a position where the sign OK is displayed. In this manner, a dispersion by every operator is eliminated, and a regulating time can be reduced by conducting adjustment referring to a panel display. |
