PURPOSE:To smooth movement and to prevent the occurrence of swing during movement, by a method wherein a lateral member, a gantry member, and a patient helping apparatus body are revolvably mounted to the lower part of a columnar body, the upper part of the columnar body is mounted to a truck, and the truck is spanned so that it can travel along a guide installed to a ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A truck 7 is spanned in a manner that it can travel on a guide rail 8 installed to a ceiling, and the plane shape and the size of the truck 7 matched with the front widths and the side widths of lateral members 1 and 2, and the size (a plane rectangular shape slightly larger than the plane external shape profile of a body AS) matching a moving amount of the center of gravity due to orientation of a human body supported by a body AS. For example, in a patient helping apparatus body AG, the position of the center of gravity of a supported patient is not specified due to orientation of a supported patient in relation to the front and the rear and the right and the left of the body AS. Namely, even when the center of gravity is slightly moved and displaced, the body AS mounted to the truck 7 is prevented from swinging, and elevation of the body as and movement of the truck 7 are smoothed. |
