<p>PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to the discharge of electrified charge from being generated by providing a layer for grounding whose sheet resistance value is larger than that of a switching electrode in the switching part non- existing area of a substrate plane on which the switching electrode is provided. CONSTITUTION:In a touch input device in which a switching part is constituted of the switching electrode provided at a substrate, for example, transparent conductive films 3A and 3B, the layer for grounding whose sheet resistance value is larger than that of the switching electrode in at least the switching non-existing area on the substrate plane in which the switching electrode is provided, for example, the layers 2A and 2B with high resistance connected to a ground circuit are provided. Thereby, charge generated by electrification flows to an arm and disappears essentially, and the switching electrode is insulated from its periphery essentially. Therefore, the malfunction due to the discharge or the leakage of a current can be prevented from being generated.</p> |
