PURPOSE:To check a car from running and secure the safety by breaking a main power line with a system-down switch when a trouble sensing means senses any trouble in an air-bag system, and by putting the engine in the state out of operation. CONSTITUTION:An inflator 2 to expand an air-bag 1 is connected to a main power line L, which supplies power to an engine controller unit 3 as a unit necessary for operation of engine, and front sensors 10, 11 for sensing car collision are interposed on the way of this power line L. This main power line L is connected with a battery 5 via a system-down switch 4 breaking the circuit according to signal from a trouble sensing means 7, which is to sense any trouble in the air-bag system. The power line 7a of this trouble sensing means 7 is connected to the battery 5 via an operational switch 8 which is also as an ignition switch. |
