PURPOSE:To secure safety for a revolving brake by furnishing a microprocessor monitoring device, sensing eventual runaway of the microprocessor, and by changing over to a hardware circuit. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor monitoring device is furnished on a revolving brake control device for a power shovel which uses a microprocessor 2. In case this microprocessor 2 has made runaway, it is sensed by the monitoring device and changeover is made from the microprocessor 2 to a hardware circuit as substitute. This enables maintaining the control function of the revolving brake even when the microprocessor 2 runs away. |
