PURPOSE:To enable clearing of conditions for fire protection construction specified by the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) by application to wooden house walls, by blending cement with a substance, containing water of crystallization and capable of dehydrating and decomposing to cause endothermic action. CONSTITUTION:A joint material obtained by blending cement with a compound containing water of crystallization, such as aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide, capable of dehydrating and decomposing at 200-350 deg.C to exhibit endothermic action. This joint material is utilized to form tile wall surfaces and provide wooden house walls. If the joint material is filled between wall surface tiles to carry out class 2 heating tests specified by JIS A1301, the resultant temperature is 230-250 deg.C on the side of wooden part on the back side of the joint material, sufficiently satisfying <=260 deg.C specified by the JIS. |
