PURPOSE:To shorten axial length of a whole device by a method wherein an assembly consisting of a power cylinder for steering small steering angles and a power cylinder for steering large steering angles is constituted to be double structure where the power cylinder for steering large steering angles is placed inside the power cylinder for steering small steering angles. CONSTITUTION:A power cylinder for steering small steering angles 10 is constituted so that it has an inner cylinder 6 which is fitted slidable into an outer cylinder 1 fixed on a vehicle body by a fixing member 2 via sealing devices 5, 5 and that it increases force of a piston 8 protruding from the inner cylinder 6 at a neutral position by a pair of right and left springs 9. On the other hand, a power cylinder for steering large steering angles 22 has a piston 17 which is fitted into a cylinder main body 6b of said inner cylinder 6, and it is constituted so that it increases force of a piston rod 15 which is formed in one piece with the piston 17 at a neutral position by a spring 19. Then supply and exhaust ports 23, 24 formed on the outer cylinder 6 are connected to a liquid pressure source and supply and exhaust ports 25, 26 are connected to each of hydraulic chambers of a power cylinder for front wheels, respectively. |
