A coating method with rainbow colors using a vacuum deposition comprising the process of adapting tungsten or Mo plate to be deposited in independently heatable vacuum tank and depositing interfering film on Matrix phase by successive melting of Cd and Se, or Co and MgF, followed by successive depositing of TiO2, gives rainbow colors.
