The invention relates to a process for regenerating used wash liquors based on phosphate-containing detergents for liquor re-use in washing processes. The process of the invention can be used in particular in commercial laundries. The invention provides that, following completion of a wash cycle, a partial precipitation of the polyphosphates and surfactants from the wash liquor is effected using compounds containing alkaline earth metal ions, after which a sedimentation of the soil-laden precipitation product and subsequent removal of the decantate for liquor re-use are effected. This regenerates the wash liquor, and soil and fluff is separated off with the precipitate without further processing stages. An advantageous precipitant is the MgCl2 waste liquor from the potash industry. |
