Tetrahydro 5-pyrimidine carboxamines of formula (I), alone or in admixture with a a dihydro pyrimidine carboxamide of formula (II), are new. R1 = H or a carbohydrate group selected from furanosyl, pyranosyl, glucopyranosyl, and galactopyranosyl, their deoxy derivatives, and hydroxy alkoxy alkyl and polyhydroxy alkyl groups having 2-12C atoms in each of their alkoxy and alkyl fractions.
