The present safety ski binding is characterised in that it has a first tipping member which is mounted between a rear end part of the force-transmission member and the front parts of the two lateral holding wings or the transversely running support of these wings, and a second tipping member in the form of an angled-off lever which is articulated on the housing or the base-plate about a horizontal and transversely running axis, this second tipping member having an essentially horizontal upper part which extends backwards and bears a support runner on the upper horizontal side of the edge of the sole, and, on the front part of this upper part, a lower part which is connected to the first tipping member by a horizontal and transversely running axis.
