PURPOSE:To efficiently confirm the connection of an optical cable by transmitting a start code showing the start of the output of a voice signal continuously to the ID code of it's own node, transmitting an end code continuously to the ID code and confirming the connection which makes a voice call to be cut with the and of the optical cable itself. CONSTITUTION:In the respective nodes 12 (12-1...12-n), an optical/electric converter 21 and an electric/optical converter 22 are respectively made to be input/ output parts and a connection confirmiation control part 24 connected to a voice input/output unit 26 is provided in the node. Then, the control part 24 incorporates leastwise a sequencer 25. This sequencer 25 transmits the ID code of the node by making the ID code of it's own node to be the last when the voice signal (Sout) is started to be outputted and continuously to that, it transmits the start code S showing the start of the output of the voice signal. Then, it executed the voice call with a partner. When the voice signal (Sout) is ended to be outputted, the voice channel is cut by transmitting the end code E continuously to the ID code being the same as that transmitted when the voice signal is started to be outputted. Then, the connection is confirmed through the optical cable 11 of which connection should be confirmed. |
