PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of moisture and gases to recording and reproducing films by providing protective coat layers which are formed by laminating the 1st layer on a substrate side consisting of a UV curing type resin and the 2nd layer consisting of polyvinylidene chloride to the counter-substrate side of a pair of the recording and reproducing films. CONSTITUTION:The optical recording and reproducing films 3 are formed on a pair of the transparent substrates 1 having a hole 2 at the center and the UV curing type resin is spin-coated thereon and UV rays are projected thereto to form the 1st protective coat layers 5. Further, the polyvinylidene chloride resin of a solvent soln. type is coated thereon to form the 2nd protective coat layers 6. The two substrates 1 are superposed on each other in such a manner that the coat layers 6 come into contact with each other and are stuck to each other by thermal welding. |
