PURPOSE:To enable power supply switching at low loss, by using a low continuity resistance MOSFET as a switching element of a switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:An output of a service interruption detector 9 which detects the service interruption of AC supply, controls a switching circuit 10 and switches the output of a rectifier 3 over to the output of a battery 6. The low continuity resistance MOSFET 11 is used as a switching element of the switching circuit 10. MOSFET 11 should be switched off during the AC power receiving condition and the capacitor 12 is charged and kept at a required voltage by the output of the rectifier 3. According to a service interruption signal from a service interruption detector 9, the voltage of the capacitor 12 is applied to the MOSFET 11 as a bias voltage and switches over the MOSFET 11 to an active ON-condition. |
