The shelf (2) is held on horizontal cross bars (3) between the legs (1) of the trestle. The shelf has two clips (4) near each end, under its lower surface, which clip on to the cross bars. The shelf holds the legs apart and gives them greater stability. One bar of a folding trestle can be joined to one side of the shelf, which pivots on this for storage. The other side of the shelf has clips to fix it to the other cross bar when the legs are extended. USE - For forming a storage space on a trestle which supports a table top or a desk. |
