PURPOSE:To forecast an electric accident, by detecting the discharge phenomenon observed before the electric accident as a value easy to be measured, by grasping the discharge condition as well as selecting the presence of a discharge point, and by comparing it with and referring it to the allowable value of discharge of the equipment at issue. CONSTITUTION:In a node 14 of an earthing conductor 12 of an outer rim 10 of an object for detection pressurized with an applicable power source 7 in common use, the higher harmonic current portion at 1MHz or so generated along with the discharge phenomenon is detected in a value which is easy to be measured under the same condition by a detection section A interposed in each line. The presence of a discharge point is selected and the state of it grasped by an electronic circuit 4. The detected value is further referred to the allowable value of discharge of the equipment at issue. As a result, according to its degree, the value is displayed to a control panel 5, with an alarm issued, and automatically informed to a regularly monitoring station 6 in a remote place. By this accident forecasting, the equipment can be well maintained. |
