The system includes a switching circuit (11) able to switch the chrominance carrier of the SECAM type tv signal. Two discriminators (12) have their inputs connected to thge swithcing circuit, and their outputs connected to sampling and hold circuits (1,2). These are connected to further sample and hold circuits (3,4). The last two sample and hold circuits are connected to a subtractor (14) and multiplier (15) receiving a pulse via a flip-flop (17) ensuring sync. with the switch, and to a correcting circuit (16).
