PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a detecting sensor which specifies the position of an optical device by setting the paper feeding timing of paper fed to a copy processing part making the time of a detection of a specific change in density as reference. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding timing setting means sets the paper feeding timing of paper fed to the copy processing part 1 making the time of the specific change shown in a detecting output of a density detecting means S1 as reference. Therefore, by providing density changing parts 2a-2c, whose density changes to specific conditions at specific positions in the lower side of an original platen 2, the position of the optical device can be specified using the density detecting means S1, which is already provided in the copying machine. Thus no other means to specifying the position of the optical device is needed when setting the carrying timing of paper to the copy processing part. |
