<p>PURPOSE:To save power by providing a means to always monitor key input, and putting out a back light when no key input is performed. CONSTITUTION:An automatic light/light-out device for the back light is housed in a computer main body 1. In a display device, a liquid crystal display with the back light is used, and the key input is performed via a keyboard. Thereby, a timepiece is always cleared by ordinary key input, and when no key input to a monitor means is performed during a time set by a user by the timepiece means, the back light puts out automatically. Furthermore, in case of confirming the key input by a key input monitor device when the back light puts out, the back light is lit automatically, and the timepiece is cleared, then, the key input monitor device starts monitoring.</p> |
