<p>PURPOSE:To extend the life of a generator by reducing a set voltage in accordance with the temperature of a generator. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage of a generator 1 rises so that a potential at a point A rises, a potential at a point P becomes high. When a potential at a point P exceeds the breakdown voltage of a Zener diode D1, a transistor Tr1 turns ON, and a transistor Tr2 turns OFF. Thus, no current flows from a battery 4 to a field coil 7, and no current develops in the generator coil 1. On the other hand, when the temperature of the generator rises due to the temperature rise around the generator and the heat generation of the generator itself, the resistance value of a thermistor 10 is increased so that the potential at the point P becomes high. Thus, the life of the generator can be extended.</p> |
