<p>PURPOSE:To set an incorporated peripheral function at an arbitrary initial stage by setting the initial state according to a content written on a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:The initialization of a microcomputer 1 is performed by outputting a reset signal 6 from a reset circuit 5 by inputting an active signal to an initialization regulating terminal 4 and setting a ROM block 2, a control circuit 3, a CPU8, and a flag or a register to regulate the internal stage of a set instruction generation circuit 10 at initializing stages. The set instruction generation circuit 10, when being set at the initial state, generates an instruction to set the flag or the register which regulates the internal state of the peripheral function according to the content regulated in the non-volatile memory 11, and outputs it to the ROM block 2. The ROM block 2 executes the above stated instruction, and sets the flag or the register to regulate the internal state of a timer block 9 at a specific state.</p> |
