PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole device by using a toner carrying member which has been extended to at least a pair of guide rollers. CONSTITUTION:The first guide roller 2 is placed in the vicinity of an electrostatic image holding means 7, the second guide roller 1 is placed in parallel to said roller, and also, at an interval, a toner carrying member 3 is extended to the guide rollers 1, 2 and also, toner thin layer forming means 5, 9 for forming a toner thin layer are provided on the surface of the toner carrying member 3 on the second guide roller 1. In such a way, when this device has been applied to a multicolor developing device, a developing device fixing system can be used, and the space can be utilized effectively, therefore, even if a photosensitive drum whose outside diameter is large is not used, four sets of developing devices of each color can be installed. |
