The device described comprises a flexible support provided with electroluminescent diodes which are fed via their conductive lugs from a battery through an electric circuit. The diodes (6) are fixed to rigid printed circuit boards (7), which are independent of one another. The flexible support (1) consists of a twin-wall material (2 and 3) between which are placed the rigid boards (7) and flexible connecting conductors of the electric circuit. One (2) of these walls is provided with holes (4) surrounded by rigid eyelets (5) through which are inserted the electroluminescent diodes (6) in a freely sliding manner.
