The casing includes a plastic or metal moulded body (1) and a lid (2) which covers one of the body's lateral faces. A gasket (3) is provided at the lid edge so that the casing is sealed when the lid covers the body and is secured with a screw (4). Both the lid and body have several clips (5) for attaching the casing to an internal wall of a car. The interior of the casing accommodates two pcbs (7,8) supported by rails (9) and springs (10) attached to the body and a riveted support (6) provided on the lid. Two of the body's lateral walls have connection strips (13,14) which are mechanically and electrically coupled to the lower and, respectively, upper pcb. The other extremities of the strips are each connected to an aperture (16), surrounded by a collar (15) and situated on the lid and opposite face of the casing. Connectors (19,20) engage the apertures being secured with elastic tongues (23,27) and corresponding hooks (29) and wedges (22,24) on the body. USE/ADVANTAGE - For protecting electronic circuits on pcbs against corrosion. Allows usage of two connectors and consequently double number of connections without volume increase.
