PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the relationship between particle diameters of graphite and dispersing agents adsorbed in a short period in detail, by disposing a plurality of separate filtering parts having different filtration characteristics in multi-stage. CONSTITUTION:A storing part 1 to store suspension containing graphite, a pressurizing part 2 to pressurize the suspension stored in the storing part 1, and a filtering part 3 installed on the side of the storing part 1 opposite to the pressurizing part 2 are provided. The filtering part 3 is comprised of a plurality of separate filtering sections 4-6 having different filtering characteristics. As a result, a rapid separation of graphite and dispersing agent and detection of dispersing agent for graphite is made easy, that is, the graphite particles are filtered off according to size, from greater ones to smaller ones, by multi-stage filtration, and further quantities of graphite remaining on the filters of the separate filtering parts are greatly decreased in comparison with conventional filters, leading to a high filtration rate, while graphite particles having specified diameter to which dispersing agents have been adsorbed can be detected by filtration in each separate filtering part, so that adsorption states of the dispersing agents relative to particle diameters can be grasped clear. |
