<p>A raised pavement marking apparatus is provided with an heated air pipe (2) laid under the road (20), an air nozzle (4) mounted on the front end of a connection pipe (3) to said air pipe (2) and communicated with the cavity of a raised pavement marking (6) fixed on the surface of the road, thereby jetting the heated air supplied through the air pipe over the road surface to melt the snow piled on the road surface and also to remove the moisture therefrom, so that the road surface is always kept in the drying state in order to help the smooth travel of the vehicles.</p> |
