<p>A concrete pile installation apparatus and method is disclosed wherein a device (22, 28) penetrates the soil to produce an opening for the formation of the pile. Fill material, such as grout (25), is introduced into the opening and a potential vacuum void (26) created in the formation of the pile is vented (29) to the atmosphere to prevent the pulling of surrounding soil into the opening and thereby causing the formation of a defective pile.</p> |
