The machine has a doffing cylinder for removing fibrous material from the drum and doffing means through which the fibres are discharged. The doffing are is encased in a housing. A scanner detects unusual accumulations of fibrous maerial in the area and operates a stopping device in the drive of the cylinder or a shaft of the machine. |
