In order to damp the pressure oscillations which occur in hydraulic systems, e.g. hydraulic clutch systems or anti-lock systems of motor vehicles, a damping element is inserted into the pressure line. Arranged in the bore of the damping element are labyrinth discs 3 which, together with the parts adjacent to them, form pressure spaces 4 which are connected to one another via eccentrically arranged axial bores 5. <IMAGE>
