<p>PURPOSE:To realize a thin mechanism for a magnetic recording/reproducing device by attaching obliquely a loading ring and a loading mechanism to a mechanical chassis at each prescribed angle and setting a capstan motor into a dead space produced by the tilt of the loading ring. CONSTITUTION:A tape drive system applies a cubic loading system where the tape traveling side is ascending to a drum 16 and a loading ring 19 which drives the guide bases 4 and 7 is tilted toward a cassette 2 at a prescribed angle. Thus it is possible to smooth the protruding part of a motor 27 to a mechanical chassis by allocating a capstan DD' and the motor 27 into a dead space produced between the ring 19 and the mechanical chassis. In such a constitution, the mechanism, thickness can be reduced for a magnetic recording/reproducing device.</p> |
