<p>PURPOSE:To lengthen the length of a separation membrane freely without lowering function of the membrane, by combining two modules which have planar parts set in the different direction on the sides of their head parts and connected with the supplying side and the permeable side of a separation membrane. CONSTITUTION:Being combined their planar surfaces, the second head part 3 of the first module (a) and the first head part 2 of the second module (b) are bolted, fixed, and the vents 9 and 11 in the supplying sides of the modules (a) and (b) and the vents 10 and 12 in the permeable sides are connected with being kept airtight. Raw air contg. steam is supplied by pressure to inside of a hollow yarn separation membrane 4 through the vent 9 in the supplying side of the first module (a), passed through the module (a) and (b) while steam is allowed to permeate outside of the membrane 4, and the air is taken out as dried air from the vent 11 in the supplying side of the second module (b). The part of the obtained air, as a purging gas, is introduced into the vent 12 in the permeable side of the second module (b).</p> |
