<p>PURPOSE:To surely control the tension of rolled stock at a fixed state by transmitting tension signals from a 1st tension computing element and tension signals from a 2nd tension computing element to a tension controller through free changeover. CONSTITUTION:An electric current value, an output speed and a looper angle of a looper electric motor are detected respectively by an electric current detector 6, a speed detector 7 and an angle detector. The tension of a rolled stock 10 is computed by the 1st tension computing element 9 through these values. A looper supporting load and a looper acceleration are detected by a load cell and an acceleration detector 12 and the tension of the rolled stock 10 is computed by these values and the looper angle through the 2nd tension computing element 13. The tension controller 17 is connected with the 1st tension computing element 9 and the 2nd tension computing element 13 through a changeover circuit 16. A tension signal from the 1st tension computing element 9 and a tension signal from the 2nd computing element 13 are transmitted to the tension controller 17 through free changeover. Hereby, the tension of a rolled stock can be controlled at a fixed state.</p> |
