摘要 PURPOSE:To carry out proper processing on a body to be welded on line by inputting both welding command signal and completion signal to measure jitter and sounding an alarm or outputting a wrong signal when the measured jitter exceeds a set limiting value. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam oscillator 9 which projects a laser beam 8 on the body (disc) 3 to be welded to weld it and a welding command control part 11 which outputs the welding command signal 19 in synchronization with a weld zone of the body 3 to be weld are provided. A means to impress the high voltage on the laser beam oscillator 9 according to the welding command signal 19 and a control signal generation means to output the charging completion signal 26 are provided. Both welding command signal 19 and completion signal 26 are inputted to measure the jitter (time till the laser beam oscillator executes oscillation after a laser beam machine receives a welding command) and a jitter monitoring device 30 to output the alarm or the wrong signal when the measured jitter exceeds the set limiting value is provided. By this method, when jitter variation to cause defective welding takes place, the necessary and pertinent processing can be carried out on line.
