PURPOSE:To obtain the title curable chlorine-free compound in good efficiency, by reacting a chlorinated phosphazene compound with a monoalkali metal salt of a polyalcohol and reacting the product with a (meth)acryloyl compound. CONSTITUTION:A chlorinated phosphazene compound (A) [e.g., a cyclic compound of formula I (hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene)] is reacted with a monoalkali metal salt (B) of a polyalcohol (e.g., monosodium salt of ethylene glycol) to obtain a hydroxylated phosphazene compound (e.g., hexahydroxyethoxycyclotriphosphazene). By reacting this compound with a (meth)acryloyl compound [e.g., (meth)acryloyl chloride], a substantially chlorine- free curable phosphazene compound (e.g., a compound of formula III) can be produced in high reactivity and efficiency. |
