PURPOSE:To test an interrupting function without operating any peripheral circuit, but operating a CPU, etc., only, by enabling a CPU to directly write the content of an interruption requesting flag in response to the setting of a certain mode at the time of testing. CONSTITUTION:When a certain mode is set and an interruption requesting flag writing enable signal (IRENABLE) 9 is set to a high level at the time of testing, a try-state circuit 8 is set to a turned on state. An interruption requesting flag 5 is directly connected with a CPU 1 through a system bus 4 and the content of the flag 5 is directly written from the CPU 1. Therefore, setting and resetting of each bit become possible and an interruption requesting signal 7 can be issued without operating peripheral circuits S1-Sn. |
