<p>The container comprises a body portion (10) formed from two pieces of flexible material and a nozzle portion (16). The nozzle portion (16) includes restrictions (13) on each side which narrows the available passage for fluid from the body (10) of the container. The body (10) and restrictions (13) are so configured that fluid cannot be released by pressure alone. The nozzle portion (16) must by simultaneously pulled outward to release the contents. When pulling ceases, the container reseals at the base of the nozzle (16). A preferred aspect is that the discharge is initially into the nozzle region (11) which contains a discrete volume of liquid thus allowing metered dosage. A further preferred aspect is the provision of restrictions (19) and (20) at the base of the container to provide a one way filling valve.</p> |
