<p>Fluoroplastics, for example PTFE, are ablated using laser pulses with a duration of 300 fs, a wavelength of 248 nm and a fluence between approximately 0.5 and 1 J/cm2. Under these conditions, the ablation rate is of the order of 1 micrometre per laser pulse.</p> |
