Connecting element for sheet-like elements

The connection of relatively large sheet-like elements, for example as a mobile room-partitioning means, often conventionally takes place by means of connecting elements which comprise a multiplicity of individual parts and thus require complex mounting and demounting and, furthermore, often do not ensure a sufficiently angularly stable connection of the sheet-like elements. The novel connecting element is intended, in contrast, to achieve a rapid mounting and demounting and a rigid connection of the sheet-like elements. Profile mouldings, exhibiting a freely terminating leg which runs at an angle with respect to the surface of the sheet-like element, are arranged on one or more edges of said sheet-like elements. By connecting the free legs of the profile mouldings of a plurality of sheet-like elements, different angular positions of the sheet-like elements with respect to one another can be achieved. Fastening openings for receiving screw-connections in the free legs permit rapid mounting and demounting of the sheet-like elements.
