The invention provides a machine which converts ferromagnetic energy into mechanical energy and is thereby capable of doing work. The energy conversion here relies only on the property of ferromagnets that they repel like magnetic poles in their vicinity and therefore exert mechanical force which is then, by application of the lever principle, converted into rotational movement of the rotor. Seven ferromagnets are arranged in a housing at right angles to the mid-point of the system, offset at right angles in the direction of rotation, so that their like magnetic poles follow one another in the direction of rotation. In addition, a ferromagnetic rotor is rotationally mounted at the mid-point of the system and its two rotor magnets are arranged in the soft-iron rotor magnet holder so that the like magnetic poles of the stator and rotor lie directly facing each other and, as a result, the mechanical force of the homopolar ferromagnetic force field produced between the stator and rotor, acting as a lever, continuously moves the rotor in one direction of rotation. The resulting torque of the rotor enables the machine to do work.
