PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a structure and to achieve cost reduction, by mounting a cantilevered type lever having a printing pin fixed to the loading end thereof and a drive means for driving the lever in a printing direction to perform printing by the printing pin and forming the lever from an elastomer. CONSTITUTION:A lever 12 is formed from a leaf spring having elasticity and the base part thereof is fixed to a base stand 11 and a printing pin 14 is fixed to the leading end of the lever 12. A drive means 13 is fixed to the base stand 11 at the base part thereof and the leading end part thereof is connected to the part near to the base part of the lever 12 by a connection member 15. In printing, a current is supplied to the drive means 13 for a predetermined time to upwardly displace the drive means 13 by minute quantity delta and the lever 12 is upwardly driven through the connection member 15. The lever 12 is elastically deformed around a fulcrum O by inertia to be curved and subsequently restored by its recovery force to be deformed into a concaved state by inertia. When the stroke of the printing pin 14 during this time is set to S and the stroke when the lever is set to a rigid lever 12' for instance is set to Sr, a stroke larger by S' than that in the case of a rigid body is obtained. |
