PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device of a simple constitution, by extend-forming a scooping sheet for leading to a waste toner vessel, so as to cover the opening part of the waste toner vessel, and forming the end part of the extended side non-continuously. CONSTITUTION:On a casing 2, a scooping sheet 4 consisting of a thin film is fitted to the upper stream side than a cleaning blade 3, and its outside end edge softly adheres to the surface of an image carrier. Accordingly, a residual toner adhering to the surface of the image carrier after transfer easily passes through the outside end edge of the scooping sheet 4, reaches a position of the cleaning blade 3, is scraped by the blade 3, and is dropped and stored in a vessel 7 in the casing 2. In this case, the scooping sheet 4 is formed so as to cover the almost whole face of the opening of the vessel 7 by extending the outside end edge of the scooping sheet 4 and the inside end edge of the opposite side, to the inside of the casing 2, and also in the vicinity of the inside end edge of this sheet, for instance, a lot of comb teeth-like suggedness are formed in a suitable area 41 from the inside end edge. |
