<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an initial cost and running cost and also to keep a steady performance without contaminations of an absorbent and refrigerant by making a compressed air pass through pipings in series and by utilizing an exhaust heat of a compressor as a heat source for heating a regenerator of an absorption-refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:After a regenerator 1, absorber 2, evaporator 3 and condenser 4 in an absorption-refrigeration cycle are evacuated, a high temperature wet compressed air is allowed to pass through a compressed air piping 5 in the regenerator 1, wherein an absorbent such as lithium chloride solution and a refrigerant such as water are contained. A mixture of the absorbent and refrigerant is separated into a concentrated solution and a refrigerant vapor by the heat of the compressed air. The compressed air is allowed to flow through a cooler 6 and then through a piping 11 in the evaporator 3, to which the refrigerant is sprayed by a pump 9. The compressed wet air, which has its heat removed there by the heat of vaporization of the refrigerant, generates drain and turns into a low temperature dry compressed air. It is finally supplied as a room temperature dry compressed air to a place, where it is needed, after heat-exchanged with the refrigerant vapor in the condenser 4. On the other hand in the absorber 2, the concentrated solution from the regenerator 1 is sprayed to a cooling water piping 7, the refrigerant is absorbed by the cooled concentrated solution and thus formed dilute solution is sent to the regenerator 1 by a pump 8.</p> |
