PURPOSE:To prevent mis-detection of a moving vector generated when the parallel movement of the entire picture is not generated by discriminating the effectiveness of a moving vector detected depending on the correlation of picture information from operating information of a camera and correcting the information as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A selection circuit 203 is a circuit selecting either a moving candidate vector 105 or a zero vector 202, and selects the moving candidate vector 105 when a switching control signal 209 being an output of a gate circuit 208 is logic 1 and selects the zero vector 202 when logic 0. Thus, in case of no pan and tilt operation moving the entire picture in parallel and in case of zooming, even if the movement candidate vector is not brought into the zero vector in mistake, the vector is corrected forcibly into the zero vector. Thus, mis-detection of the moving vector is prevented. |
