<p>A self-supporting structural element for lining, decorating, protecting and/or sealing frames or car bodies has at least one integral transitionless axial extremity, comprising a ledge-shaped or plate-shaped synthetic element (6) mounted on the frame by means of links (2, 3) and having an integral reinforcement (7) made of hard material and flexible connecting elements (12). The reinforcement consists of ledges made of narrow sheet metal coated with a hard synthetic material or of a mineral-reinforced or hard synthetic material. Said ledges are linked by their material to the inside of the links of the structural element connected to the frame or similar part, and have at least one lip made of flexible material connected to the frame or similar part.</p> |
