<p>PURPOSE:To increase the number of cars to be admitted and shorten the time required for taking in and out the cars by using a circular elevator in which plural number of self-running cages are arranged, in one elevator space in a three-dimensional parking facility to efficiently operate the cars. CONSTITUTION:In the elevator, plural number of struts 5 or elevator guides are provided at the four corners in an elevator hall, or elevator space. Female screws are formed on the inner surfaces of each struts 5. On the other hand, a cage 1 consists of its mechanical member 3 and an upper cabin 4, and round bodies 2 forming male screws 20 on their outer peripheral faces are located at the four corners of the mechanical member 3. The rotating bodies 2 are respectively connected to a motor in the mechanical member 3 through a deceleration mechanism, and threaded into each strut 5. And when each round body 5 is rotated, the cage 1 is raised and lowered along the struts 5. The vertical parking facility consists of the above circulating elevator provided with plural cages, and a horizontal lift consisting of an endless belt and a cage.</p> |
