<p>Disc, characterised in that it consists of a disc (1) of a metallic fabric or the like carrying, on its side (1a) for attachment to a drive plate (3) of a polishing machine or the like (4) of the type employing "velcro" or similar means of attachment (13), at least one embossed metallic cloth (5, 6) and, on its opposite side (1b), at least one embossed metallic cloth (7 to 10) having characteristics which may or may not differ from those of the embossed cloth or cloths on the other side.
