<p>PURPOSE:To add a delay jitter which is approximated to the actual state of a network and to conduct an evaluation test adapted to actuality by writing and reading a packet and dummy data into a storage means with identification display. CONSTITUTION:The packet inputted to an input means 20 is written into the storage means 14 through a selection means 24 at the intervals of a prescribed time, and dummy data generated by a dummy data generation means 28 is written into a storage position succeeding to the packet with identification display. The storage means 14 reads written packet and dummy data with identification display in a write order. A control means 32 identifies the packet which has been read from the storage means 14 by identification display, transmits the packet from an output means 36. When dummy data is identified, dummy data is prevented from being transmitted from the output means 36. The jitter which is delayed with respect to the prescribed intervals and the jitter which is hasty with respect to them can be added to the packet transmitted from the output means 36.</p> |
