PURPOSE:To detect the speed of a moving body not by means of the ultrasonic Doppler method, to execute a correct measurement at a low speed, and to detect the speed in a direction orthogonal to an ultrasonic beam by seeing the moving body in a microscopic way, grasping it as an aggregation of micro-scatters, and detecting the fluctuation of an echo signal amplitude which appears as the interference result of scattered waves from the micro-scatters. CONSTITUTION:A pulse ultrasonic wave or successive ultrasonic wave is radiated into a body to be checked, the ultrasonic wave by a transmitter 10 is radiated in a blood vessel 22 in which a blood 15 to contain the aggregation of the micro-scatters (blood corpuscles) flows. Next, a reflected echo from the blood 15 is received by a receiving step 101, the hourly change (fluctuation) of the amplitude of an echo signal to be obtained is detected as the fluctuation of, for example, the envelope (envelope), the degree of the hourly change of the amplitude of the echo signal is grasped, and the fluctuated frequency is detected. Next, a shaft to a speed converting stop 104 is executed, and here, the speed is measured from the fluctuated frequency obtained by a frequency analyzing step 103. The fluctuated frequency is proportionate to the speed, and the speed condition of the moving body can be detected from the fluctuated frequency. |
