Combinations of polysuphated heparins with inhibitors of reverse transcriptase and/or with inhibitors of the binding of retroviruses to the host cell and/or inhibitors of virus biosynthesis and/or with lymphokines with antiviral activity and/or with retinoids for the prophylaxis and therapy of diseases caused by retroviruses.
